Home Styling to Sell or Rent

I can work with you at three levels:

1. Consultation and action plan report

2. Action plan + service

3. Full home styling service

Consultation and action plan report

The first step is a consultation, which will be followed up with a written action plan. You will need to allow about 2 hours for the consultation and in that time I will assess all areas of your property. Every home is different of course, but the report will cover areas such as (but not exclusively):

• any repairs or maintenance that adversely affect the impression that your property makes but can easily be put right

• room arrangements which could be changed and/or styled to better advantage

• any areas that need to be redecorated

• simplifying rooms and identifying possessions which should be pre-packed and stored ready for your next home

• ideas for accessories or furniture (if necessary)

Following on from the consultation and I'll come up with creative ways of emphasizing your property's good points and minimizing its downsides and draw up a prioritized action plan for you to follow. ​This option costs £200.

Action plan + service

After the consultation you may decide that you would like my help with executing your action plan and more detailed recommendations. The Action Plan + service will build on your action plan by providing:

• A suggested programme of works for you to work from

• Colour design scheme boards (detailed mood boards) showing not only a suggested colour scheme but also depicting new purchases such as paint colour, furniture, accessories etc

• Swatches and samples of paints and soft furnishings, if relevant

• CAD 2D floorplans to show you exactly where to put furniture, accessories etc

• A detailed list of recommended items for purchase, with prices and sources (all sourced from my favourite retailers who sell good quality items at value prices)

• Details of how to upcycle/update pieces of your furniture (if relevant)

Full home styling service

If you are busy and would like the staging to happen before your very eyes this all-in service is just for you! We do everything for you from the initial consultation through to taking the rubbish away.

This package includes the consultation and Action Plan +, and in addition we project manage the styling for you. After agreeing the action plan and design with you we will submit a detailed quotation, to include trades quotes. Once you have agreed the quotation and paid a deposit we will get going:

• instructing our trusted trades, securing trade prices for works and supervising

• coordinating trades so that things are done in the right order

• sourcing furniture, accessories etc, and storing them for you

• renting furniture, if relevant

• Borrowing accessories from my stock of special things, to use during the photo shoot (to save you having to buy them)

• Implementing the final styling installation when it all comes together - on a day when you are not there so you get the surprise when you get home!
