Probate Property Preparation for Sale

Probate properties are often in need of repair and modernisation and potential buyers/tenants can struggle to imagine themselves living there. Also they are often sold empty, which always makes any property less attractive.

I provide two services:

1. Consultation and action plan report recommending the most important steps to take to prepare the property for a fast, best price sale.

2. Full project managed service where we do everything in the action plan for you.

I aim to do the minimum to transform the property so that it appeals to a much larger audience than before - home styling does not involve renovation; we give the property a facelift and make it much more difficult for buyers to insist that you drop your price.

After a visit to your property I will prepare a quotation which will include whatever service you require, managed by me. For instance sorting, removing and donating unwanted items, cleaning, tidying gardens and repainting if necessary. Much of the work we will do ourselves and if necessary we will engage our trusted trades (securing trade prices) for repairs, decorating and gardening.

As it is difficult to sell an empty property we will work with what furniture you have to update and style with accessories (and possibly source furniture, which we will source second hand if we can or hire) in order to help buyers to see its full potential.
